Jolt HomePlus

Jolt HomePlus sits between Jolt Home and Jolt Business. It keeps the simplicity of a home charger — charge from your couch with the Jolt Control app, schedule off-peak sessions, sleek minimalist design — but adds OCPP 1.6J and Dynamic Power Management, so a site can be monitored and managed centrally. It has no certified energy meter, so it is ideal where central management matters but accurate paid billing does not.

  • Gated communities and apartment complexes — shared, managed charging for residents.
  • Non-public sites — workplaces and private locations where billing isn’t the priority.

Power & charging

  • Rated 7.4 kW (single-phase, 230 V) or 22 kW (three-phase, 415 V); output configurable 6–32 A.
  • Type 2 (IEC 62196) connector; IEC 61851 Mode 3 control.

Connectivity & backend

  • WiFi, BLE and SIM, with automatic multi-network fallback.
  • OCPP 1.6J to any compliant CSMS — supports both ws and wss with basic authentication. Set the OCPP server and charger identity with the Jolt Install Partner app.

Load & energy

  • Dynamic Power Management — share the available supply across chargers.
  • Energy Management features with basic measurands. HomePlus has no certified energy meter, so it is not intended for billing-critical, public charging — see The Jolt family.

Access & control

  • RFID, the Jolt Control app, and OCPP/CMS authorization.

Safety & build

  • IP65, surge protection to 6 kV, over/under-voltage protection (±15%), and the full safety platform.
  • Easy to install; designed and made in India.

Current firmware: 5.1.120

Firmware is updated remotely — contact BRIGHTBLU or your operator to arrange an update.

5.1.120

  • Secure BLE authentication — a challenge-response handshake, so only authorized apps can commission the charger over Bluetooth.
  • Network-status LED can now be configured over BLE.

5.1.119

  • Connection-type indication — the dashboard shows whether the charger is connected over WiFi, SIM or LAN.
  • Central load management — remote current-limit support for site load balancing.
  • Session reliability — more reliable transaction handling.
  • Ongoing monitoring and stability improvements.

Two apps work with a Jolt charger — one for the people who use it, one for the people who install and service it.
